Credit growth softened for both housing (0.5 percent vs 0.6 percent in June) and business (1.2 percent vs 1.5 percent). Meantime, personal credit went up 0.2 percent after falling 0.3 percent in June. Through the year to July, private credit gained 9.1 percent.
